Traditional Media
Much of my traditional work is done in paint, pencil, charcoal, or ink. I like to experiment with different mediums and try out new things with a variety of subjects. I have a tendency to create black-and-white pieces; however, I very much enjoy the visual pleasures of color and make it a habit to apply it to my own creations when I find it appropriate.
My most recent subject-interest has consisted of skulls and skeletons. The human body and the emotions it presents fascinates me, so I find that creative recreation and navigation of the inner structure of our bodies serves as a beautiful reference for artistic practice. Along the same topic, anatomy itself is a source of intrigue, so I often find myself working with animal/creature structure, as well.
